Scope of the Journal
The Indian Journal of BioMedical Research is a peer-reviewed, international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research and reviews across the full spectrum of biomedical sciences. Our primary mission is to advance the understanding of health and disease by providing a platform for the rapid dissemination of significant scientific discoveries.
The journal welcomes submissions from all fundamental and applied fields of biomedical research. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
Molecular and Cellular Biology: Genetics, genomics, proteomics, epigenetics, signal transduction, and cell signaling.
Physiology and Pathophysiology: The functional basis of disease at the organ, system, and whole-organism levels.
Biochemistry: The chemical processes within and related to living organisms.
Immunology: Host defense mechanisms, immunopathology, and vaccine development.
Pharmacology and Toxicology: Drug discovery, mechanisms of drug action, and the adverse effects of chemical, physical, or biological agents.
Neuroscience: The study of the nervous system and its role in behavior, cognition, and disease.
Cancer Biology: The molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying cancer initiation, progression, and treatment.
Microbiology and Infectious Diseases: Virology, bacteriology, and host-pathogen interactions.
Translational Medicine: Research that bridges preclinical discoveries with clinical applications and novel therapeutic strategies.
We publish Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Systematic Reviews, Short Communications, and Case Reports. All submissions are subject to a rigorous and fair double blind peer-review process, ensuring the scientific validity and impact of the published work.

Manuscript Structure
Your manuscript should be organized in the following order:
Title Page
Article Title: The title should be concise and informative.
Author Information: Provide the full name, institutional affiliation (department, university/institution, city, country), and ORCID iD for each author.
Corresponding Author: Clearly indicate the corresponding author with their name, affiliation, and email address.
Abstract
Provide a brief summary of your research. The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
It should be structured, including sections for Background/Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Keywords
Provide 4 to 6 keywords that accurately describe the content of your article. These will be used for indexing purposes.
Main Text (IMRAD Structure)
Introduction: State the background and objectives of the work, providing an adequate literature review.
Methods: Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be summarized and cited.
Results: Present your findings clearly and concisely, using figures and tables where appropriate.
Discussion: Explore the significance of the results without repeating them. This section should interpret the findings in the context of other studies.
Conclusions
Present the main conclusions of the study and highlight its implications and potential for future research.
Declarations This section is mandatory and should include the following statements:
Funding: Disclose all sources of financial support for the research. If there was no funding, please state: "This research did not receive any specific grant from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors."
Conflict of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest. If there are none, state: "The authors declare no conflicts of interest."
Author Contributions: Briefly describe the contribution of each author (e.g., "Conceptualization: A.B.; Data Curation: C.D.; Writing – Original Draft: A.B.; Writing – Review & Editing: C.D.").
Data Availability Statement: Indicate whether the data supporting the findings are available and where they can be accessed.
Acknowledgments
